Event 1 - Sandbag Toss for Distance
This will be our power expression event. The game is simple, get a good grip on the sand bag, get a swing happening and then yeet it over your head as far as you can!
Event 2 - Silver Dollar Deadlift
We will be using a Texas Deadlift bar with Silver Dollar Deadlift attachments to get the starting height at roughly 18” off the ground and be able to load up for some heavy pulls!
Event 3 - Keg Overhead Press AMRAP
The lovely host of this year's Nexus Games is the Burleigh Tavern so it’s fitting that we use their stuff and throw it around! We will have loaded kegs to be cleaned and then pressed, as many times as possible overhead for time
Event 4 - Tyre Stack - Head to Head
Our final event will be a head-to-head battle between two competitors to complete the tyre stack in the shortest amount of time possible. Tyres will start heavy and close to the stack position, they will get lighter and further away for each subsequent tyre
